HEIRLOOM, ORGANIC.

Introducing Danvers 126 carrots! These organic heirloom seeds produce exceptionally large, deep orange carrots with broad shoulders and a slightly stumped end. They're adaptable to most soils and heat resistant, making them a great choice for gardeners in any climate. Plus, their uniform size and shape make them perfect for slicing or juicing. Give your family the freshest, healthiest carrots around with Danvers 126 carrots! Resistant to cracks and splits. Grows to about 6-7" long. Strong tops make harvesting easy. 500mg ~ 500 seeds.

GROWING TIPS

Plant seeds directly in the garden in early spring starting about 2 weeks before average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 50-85 degrees. Thin seedlings when they are about 1" high. Successive sowings can be made every two to three weeks. Do not plant if crop will mature in the heat of summer as it may result in poor quality carrots. Planting can resume late summer for a fall harvest. Cut off all but 1" off tops before storing. Even at optimum temperature carrot seed can take up to 18 days to germinate.
