CowPots are biodegradable transplant pots made from 100% recycled and composted cow manure by the Freund dairy farm in Connecticut. Nutrient rich, sustainable alternative to plastic pots and made in the USA.
The 3" round pot allows for better ventilation and air circulation between pots, advantageous to longer term durability of pot walls. This size is preferred for seed starting of herbs, vegetables or other annuals that will be used for step up transplants to larger planting containers or direct transplants to ground post frost, with quick turnaround from initial seeding.
