GROWING TIPS
Plant seed directly into the garden starting 1-3 weeks after average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-85 degrees. When seedlings are 3" high, thin to final spacing. Okra is best when the fruit is tender and immature. Harvest when pods are 6-10" in length. Inspect and harvest at least every other day. Remove any over-mature fruit to encourage production of new flowers.

I unfortunately planted the Orka too late in the season in Amarillo Texas. However it still grew WONDERFULLY! I was able to harvest from 3 out of the 5 plants that came up. Next year I'll plant sooner.
