GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked, or 2-4 weeks before your average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-75°F. Starting transplants is not recommended. Poppies are very susceptible to transplant shock. Poppies germinate best in cool soil and are frost tolerant. When seedlings are 2" tall, thin to 1 plant every 6-10". Hardiness zones 8-10.
