Cumin

Cumin begins as a delicate annual herb and ends with aromatic seed valued in curries, chili, breads, beans, spice blends, and cuisines around the world. Fine foliage and small umbels give the plant a light, graceful presence.

Direct sow in warm soil and provide a long, dry finish for seed ripening. Harvest when the seed heads turn brown, then dry them thoroughly before threshing and storing.
