Calendula

Calendula brings sunny yellow and orange flowers to cool-season gardens, edible petals, bouquets, pollinator beds, and traditional herbal preparations. Its cheerful blooms are easy to gather and often continue well into fall.

Direct sow in cool weather, deadhead for continued bloom, and harvest newly opened flowers after dew has dried. Allow a few heads to mature if you want seed for the next season.
