Tomatillos
Tomatillos grow inside papery husks and bring bright, tangy flavor to salsa verde, sauces, roasting trays, relishes, and fresh garden cooking. Green, yellow, and purple varieties add color as well as the distinctive flavor central to many Mexican dishes.
Grow at least two compatible plants for reliable fruit set, transplant after nights are warm, and give the branching plants room or support. Harvest when the husks are filled and begin to split, while fruits are still firm.
