Sorrel
Sorrel is a hardy perennial green with bright, lemony leaves for salads, soups, sauces, omelets, and herb-forward meals. It is often among the first useful greens to return in spring and can produce for years from an established clump.
Harvest young leaves for the mildest flavor and remove flower stalks if you want to keep plants focused on foliage. Divide crowded clumps as needed and give sorrel regular moisture for tender growth.
