Chives
Chives provide slender onion-flavored leaves and edible purple blossoms from a hardy perennial clump. Snip them into eggs, potatoes, soups, salads, sauces, breads, and herb butters, or let some flowers open for pollinators.
Grow in sun or light shade with regular moisture, and harvest by cutting leaves near the base. Divide crowded clumps every few years to keep them vigorous.
