GROWING TIPS

Plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-70°F. Or, start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Removing old blossoms will encourage new growth. Plant staking may be required for added support. Sulphur cosmos thrive in hot, arid climates in soil that is more infertile.
