ORGANIC.
Dara Daucus, also known as Queen Anne's lace, ornamental carrot, and wild carrot, stands out as an exceptional choice for cut flowers and as a bouquet filler. With its captivating 3–5" umbels resting atop robust, erect stems, it blooms in an array of charming hues, including white, dark purple, or pink. Renowned for its high productivity, Dara Daucus graces bouquets with an abundance of 7–15 stems per plant, ensuring a lasting presence that enhances any floral arrangement with its enchanting beauty and versatility.

Plant seeds directly in the garden in early spring around average last frost date (sow in the fall in the south). Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-65 degrees. Thin seedlings when they are about 1" high. Successive sowings can be made every two to three weeks. For transplants, start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Harden off and transplant to the garden after your average last frost date. Chilling seeds to temperatures of 40-45°F for 1-2 weeks before sowing can improve germination rates.
