Table Queen Acorn Squash is an heirloom winter squash that is a true bush plant. You can expect 3-8 fruits per plant. These squashes are very productive in a small space, and they keep well. The orange flesh cooks dry and sweet, making it a delicious addition to your meals. 1.5g ~ 20 seeds.

Start seed indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-85 degrees. Transplant to the garden 2 to 3 weeks after your average last frost. Or, plant seeds directly in the garden 1-2 weeks after average last frost date. Sow 3-5 seeds per hill, thinning to a final 2-3 plants per hill. Squash grow best in a warm site with full sun. Warm soil is essential to good seed germination and emergence. Using transplants can speed production.

Seed Packets are very well done.

Of all the local and organic seeds that I purchased this year, these seed packets clearly explain the best planting practices for the specific seed. No need to go and look it up on their website, it is all right there. Seeds were just started so I cannot testify to their germination rates or the fruit produced.
