Good people to work with. I had seeds in Trays 95% germinated good product I would order again.
I only planted 6 plants and I have 10 watermelons currently. Can’t wait for them to ripen so we can try them out. Zone 8- Texas

Introducing the Detroit Dark Red Beet, a classic favorite with a rich history dating back to 1892. This heirloom vegetable is prized for its uniform shape and deep red flesh, which is sweet and full-flavored. The prolific plants yield 14-inch tops that can be used as greens. Detroit Dark Reds can also be grown as sprouts, adding a flavorful crunch to your salads and sandwiches. 2.5 g ~ 200 seeds.
Plant seeds directly in the garden starting 2-4 weeks before average last spring frost. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-75 degrees. Don't plant to early or an extended cold spell may cause plants to bolt. Sow thickly, then thin plants to 2-3" apart. Beets are somewhat shade tolerant. Harvest greens when plants are 4-6" tall. For tender beet roots, harvest when they are still small; around 1.5". Can be planted again in mid-to-late summer for winter harvest & storage.
