Your seeds are covered for one year from the date of purchase. If they fail to germinate under reasonable growing conditions, arrive damaged, or do not grow true to type, contact us and we’ll make it right with a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Plant seeds directly into the garden after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 70–80°F. Or, start seed indoors about 3–6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant outdoors after your average last frost date. Basil grows best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Pinch plants regularly and remove flower stalks to delay bolting and encourage bushier growth. Harvest often to promote tender new growth and a steady supply of leaves.
