GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly into the garden in the spring after the danger of frost has passed. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-75°F. Or, start seed indoors 3-5 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. The flower petals are edible and the flowers make long-lasting cuttings. They are very easy to grow and will reseed profusely. To get the most out of your flowers, make successive sowings every 2-3 weeks throughout the summer.
