Sweet Marjoram - Herb Seeds
🚚 FREE SHIPPING for all orders over $79!
Marjoram brings a gentler, sweeter flavor than oregano—great with roasted vegetables, beans, and poultry, or infused in olive oil. A tender perennial often grown as an annual, it asks for sun, drainage, and light, regular harvests to stay bushy.
Let some stems bloom and bees will crowd the tiny flowers. Dry sprigs for winter cooking or add fresh leaves at the end of dishes to preserve their perfume. If oregano can be too bold for some plates, marjoram offers a softer, complex note you’ll reach for often. Herbs bring the garden closer to daily life through flavor, fragrance, and usefulness.
Every order is packed with care by our small team in Pennsylvania and typically ships within 2–3 business days—often by the next business day. We ship throughout the United States using USPS and UPS.
Unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us so we can make it right.
We stand behind every packet we sell. Our seeds are carefully selected, tested for germination, untreated, and guaranteed to be true to variety.
Your seeds are covered for one year from the date of purchase. If they fail to germinate under reasonable growing conditions, arrive damaged, or do not grow true to type, contact us and we’ll make it right with a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-75 degrees. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Or, plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date. Harvest leaves after plants have become established. Use leaves either fresh or dried. Marjoram is similar to oregano but sweeter. Can be used to season salads, dressings, sauces, stews, teas and many other culinary uses. Prefers well-drained soil. Established plants can be cut back several times throughout the growing season. Pruning encourages new growth on the plant.
