Chocolate Cherry Sunflower brings deep, burgundy petals and a dark chocolate center to the summer garden—rich tones that set it apart from the classic yellow. Plants grow to about 6 feet tall and produce multiple 5" blooms, making them a strong performer for borders, backdrops, or cutting. How to Grow

Plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date when soil has warmed up. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-75°f. Succession plantings can be made every 1-2 weeks for continued harvest. Or, start seed indoors 3-5 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Sunflower is sensitive to transplant shock so carefully set in the garden.
