Forest Fire celosia is your must-have bouquet filler for all occasions. Deep red stems and foliage are punctuated by large, soft and feathery scarlet plumes of brilliant color, creating a lively display with each vibrant bloom. This plant's multi-branching stems produce 10 to 14 per plant, giving you plenty of flowers to create stunning centerpieces and bouquets. Plus these long stems make outstanding cut flowers. 125mg ~ 150 seeds.
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-75°F. Cover soil very lightly as seeds require light to germinate. Harden off and transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Prefers well-drained, fertile soil high in organic matter. Or, plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date for locations with a long growing season. Excellent for both fresh and dried cut flowers.
