GROWING TIPS
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-75 degrees. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Or, plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date. Harvest leaves after plants have become established. Use leaves either fresh or dried. Marjoram is similar to oregano but sweeter. Can be used to season salads, dressings, sauces, stews, teas and many other culinary uses. Prefers well-drained soil. Established plants can be cut back several times throughout the growing season. Pruning encourages new growth on the plant.
