HEIRLOOM, ORGANIC.

An heirloom celery variety, dating back to 1952. Tall, medium dark green. Crisp stalks that are delicious in salads or as raw-cut celery sticks. Plants grow to 18-24". Tall Utah celery is slow to bolt. Early producer and disease resistant. 200mg ~ 500 seeds.

For spring planting, start seed indoors 8-10 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 50-65 degrees. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks before your average last frost date. Celery requires consistent moisture and nutrients during growth. For fall planting, time setting out transplants so harvest is on the average first frost date.
