Frisee endive is the perfect addition to any salad. Its finely cut leaves add beauty and body, while its slightly bitter flavor balances out sweet and savory flavors.  Blanch by tying the heads with a broad rubber band. Packet 800mg ~ 500 seeds.

For spring planting, plant seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked, or start transplants 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 50-65 degrees. For fall planting, direct sow seeds or place transplants in garden about 8 weeks before average first frost date.
