Cinnamon - Basil Seeds - Organic
Cinnamon Basil is a sweet basil variety with a height of 18-24 inches and produces fragrant purple flowers. Cinnamon basil can be used fresh or dried for many different preparations. The textured leaves have a warm, spicy flavor well suited to salad greens as they add color and texture. You will find this spice scattered throughout recipes like pesto sauce; marinades oil/syrup mixture (think BBQ); honey glazed nuts--even vinegar solution if you're looking at making ketchup. Cinnamon basil contains a wealth of nutrients that support the immune system and help with inflammation. It also supplies vitamin A, which is needed for healthy organ functioning! 400mg ~ 200 seeds
GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly into the garden starting 1-2 weeks after average last frost date, when air temperature is above 65°F. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-80°F. Or, start seed indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. You can keep plants from bolting by pinching back their flower stalks.
