Plant seeds directly in the garden in the spring 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Or, start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 2 weeks after your average last frost date. Requires full sun and well-drained soil to grow. Primrose can be planted again in the fall if located in a milder zone. Suitable for use in borders, containers or for naturalizing larger areas.
