Marmalade rudbeckia offers warm orange‑gold daisies with dark centers from midsummer into fall. As a North American native, it thrives in heat and poorer soils, feeding bees and butterflies when other blooms fade. Sturdy stems make it a reliable cut flower, and it’s content in borders, meadows, or veggie beds as a pollinator draw. Simple to grow, long on payoff—exactly what a late‑season garden needs.

Plant seeds directly into the garden in spring after danger of frost has passed, or start seed indoors 5–8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for germination is 68–75°F. Surface sow or cover seed very lightly, as light aids germination. Transplant to the garden after your average last frost date. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil, but tolerates partial shade. Rudbeckia may self-sow readily. Flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
