GROWING TIPS

Plant seeds directly in the garden around the time of your average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-75°F. Or, start seed indoors 5-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Sow seeds up until early-summer for a flower bloom the next year. Short lived tender perennial in zones 3-9 that forms healthy plants in the first year, but flowers the second year. In mild climates where it may come back again next season if left alone - reseed every year so you'll always have plants that are flowering.
