CowPots are biodegradable transplant pots made from 100% recycled and composted cow manure by the Freund dairy farm in Connecticut. Nutrient rich, sustainable alternative to plastic pots and made in the USA.

The 4" square pot is preferred for seed starting of early planting annuals and vegetables. For seedlings needing more days in the greenhouse before transplanting such as eggplant, peppers and tomatoes. Also great for step up transplants to larger planting containers or direct transplants to ground post frost.

GROWING TIPS

Transplanting the whole pot is a great way to prevent root shock. They will rapidly decompose and add nutrients that help strengthen roots resulting in healthier plants with increased sturdiness!
