German - Chamomile Seeds
German Chamomile is a tall plant with feather-like fuzzy leaves and deep-yellow flowers. This variety of chamomile is one of the most prolific. Cut fresh or used dried for tea or medicinal purposes. 300mg ~ 2000 seeds.
GROWING TIPS
Start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-85 degrees. Transplant to the garden after your average last frost date. Or, plant seeds directly in the garden 1-2 weeks after average last frost date. Sow thickly, thinning to a group of 2-3 plants every 8". Chamomile self-sows readily. Harvest flowers when petals are expanding. Dry on a screen in a cool, dark & ventilated area. Or, hang upside down for drying.
