Giant Imperial Mix larkspur blends blues, lilacs, pinks, and whites on long, elegant stalks that bloom when spring bulbs fade. Tall yet fine-textured, it slides into cutting rows or cottage borders, reseeding modestly when happy.

Larkspur is a distant cousin of delphinium and shares its toxicity—admire, don’t nibble. Historically, larkspur petals were used to tint inks and cloth; today they’re prized for floristry and early pollinator support. Sow in fall or very early spring for best stands, then enjoy vertical color before summer heat takes over.

Every order is packed with care by our small team in Pennsylvania and typically ships within 2–3 business days—often by the next business day. We ship throughout the United States using USPS and UPS.

Unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us so we can make it right.

Plant seeds directly in the garden 3-5 weeks before average last frost or as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring. Can be sown in the fall for bloom the following year. Or, start seed indoors 5-7 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden around your average last frost date. To improve germination, pre-chill seed for 7 days in a refrigerator. Support is recommended. Larkspur prefers rich, well-drained soil and grows best where summers are
Cooler. Excellent for use as fresh cut flowers or dried.
Caution: all parts of this plant are toxic if ingested.
