Lemon - Cucumber Seeds
Looking for a refreshing addition to your next salad? Introducing the lemon cucumber! This little round, lemon-colored cucumber is perfect for adding a splash of color (and flavor!) to any dish. The mild, sweet flesh is versatile and delicious, making it a great choice for salads, pickling, and more. Plus, lemon cucumbers are grown on semi-bush type plants that only reach 3-4 feet tall, so they're perfect for smaller gardens. Best of all, they're easy to pick at 1½–2½" diameter - the size of limes. So what are you waiting for? Give the lemon cucumber a try today!
GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly in the garden in the spring after the danger of frost has passed, roughly 1-2 weeks after the average last frost date and when daytime temps are near 70°F. Sow 5-6 seeds per hill and thin to 2-3 plants. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-80 degrees. For transplants, start seed indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 2-3 weeks after your average last frost date
