Russell Mix Lupine is a beautiful, native perennial that grows up to 3-4 feet tall. It produces stunning flower spikes in blue, pink, red, or white, which attract hummingbirds and bees. Flowers appear from late May to mid-June. Russell Mix Lupine prefers full sun and moderate to moist conditions – perfect for beds and borders or meadow gardening! Plants and seeds are poisonous. Extreme caution should be taken around pets and children. Also known as ‘Garden Lupine. 3g ~ 100 seeds.

Plant seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked, roughly a few weeks prior to average last frost date. Soaking seeds overnight in water can improve germination. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-75°F. Or, start seed indoors 4-8 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Harden off for 1 week prior to planting outside. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost. Plants are sensitive to transplant shock, so take care when transplanting.
