Peach Melba - Nasturtium Seeds
Peach Melba Nasturtium is a compact dwarf variety with soft, creamy-yellow blooms and bright red centers, creating a warm, eye-catching contrast that resembles tiny glowing flames. It’s easy to grow and does well in poor soils, making it a great choice for containers, garden beds, and borders. Plus, both the flowers and leaves are edible, adding a peppery, spicy kick to salads and garnishes.
GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked, roughly 2 weeks before average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-70°F. Thin seedlings to 6-12" after first true leaves appear. Or, start seed indoors 3-5 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Harden off plants prior to transplanting outside. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Edible flowers are a great addition to salads, and the spicy flavor compliments any dish. Bumble bees love nasturtiums, so you'll be sure to get plenty of pollinators in your garden.
