Sow 5-6 seeds per hill and thin to 2-3 plants. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 65-80 degrees. For transplants, start seed indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Not producing fruits

Large healthy Vines only one cucumber that is 4 in Long and round like a softball. Have no other fruit. Lots of flowers lots of leaves lots of everything but cucumbers. Very disappointed. I will try some seeds again next year to give it another chance.

Hi Jean, thank you for your purchase of Suyo Long cucumber seeds. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the results of your planting. It sounds like there are some environmental conditions that have impacted the fruiting of this plant if the seed germinated well and produced healthy plants. It is possible that your plants flowers are not receiving good pollination from native pollinators. Consider including more flowers surrounding your garden next year increasing your pollinators ensuring sufficient pollination of your vegetable crops. Happy Gardening!
