Looking for a quick and easy way to protect your garden soil? Look no further than Crimson Clover! This hardy cover crop is perfect for early fall plantings, and it establishes a dense carpet of vegetation that provides excellent ground protection. Crimson Clover is extremely shade tolerant. Best of all, this nitrogen-fixing legume can be grown for livestock feed, wildlife forage, or as a beautiful addition to the flower garden. This annual plant will die during the first frost, but may reseed itself and come back next year. So make sure to try it out today! 1 oz ~ 5,000 seeds.

Plant seeds directly in the soil in spring and fall when night temperatures are consistently below 65 degrees. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 45-75°F. Prefers heavier, well drained soils. Great for food plots, forage ground cover and the flower garden. It is a reseeding winter annual with an erect growth habit and a shallow taproot system.
