Sensation Mix - Cosmos Seeds
The Cosmos Sensation Mix is a favorite heirloom for northern gardeners. An All-American Selections winner in 1936, this mix has been a favorite among gardeners for decades. With an early blooming time, large sturdy plants, and beautiful foliage, this mix of colors is sure to please. The flowers are a delightful mixture of white, pink, rose and crimson, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers. Grows 4-5' tall. 750mg ~ 100 seeds.
GROWING TIPS
Plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-70°F. Or, start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Removing old blossoms will encourage new growth. Plant staking may be required for added support. Great for cutting, beds and borders, and the pollinator garden. Prefers well-draining soils.
