Sensation Mix cosmos brings tall, airy plants topped with large, single blooms in pink, carmine, and white. They sway with every breeze, drawing butterflies and bees while filling vases with effortless abundance. Cosmos thrives on neglect—lean soil, low water—and rewards deadheading with weeks of color. In traditional gardens it often mingled with corn and beans to pull in pollinators. Plant a drift for an easy, cottage look, or thread it through crops as a living beacon for beneficial insects.

How to Grow

Plant seeds directly in the garden after average last frost date. Optimum soil temperature for seed germination is 60-70°f. Or, start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into the garden. Transplant to the garden 1-2 weeks after your average last frost date. Removing old blossoms will encourage new growth. Plant staking may be required for added support. Great for cutting, beds and borders, and the pollinator garden. Prefers well-draining soils.
